I’m George Supreeth, and I run a design firm called IXMOD in Bangalore, India. I suppose you could say I’m a designer, but a very non specialist one. I draw cartoons, design usable U.I, make films and do all kinds of stuff. In retrospect, in asking where all this is coming from I became interested in how people think. I scratch my itch through observing people and making notes, reading about cognitive science, and generally coming up with little tests to prove my hypothesis.
As you will notice from my blog, I lack the requisite medical vocabulary, though thanks to the net I can always cross-check on terms that I do not understand, and see for myself a real live neuronal migration on video. Thanks to V.S Ramachandran, Steven Pinker, loads-of-others, nature magazine, Wikipedia, Google, WordPress and RSS feeds from scientific publications, I can slowly supplement my work with my learning.
